Facility Management—Exxon, USA: Designed database to track maintenance and compliance for service stations. Much of the operating data is distributed amongst third party vendors. Microsoft SQL Server is used as a repository of all data pertinent to Exxon.
Compliance Management System—Tanknology NDE:
Designed and wrote application to permit largest gasoline tank testing company to add government compliance management to its product line. The application tracks audits of site equipment, tests, spills or other incidents and actions taken to correct them. This application is used by Exxon, Mobil, Ryder, Sunoco, DairyMart, and other companies. Currently the author is modifying it to permit multiple language support and data collection/reporting via the worldwide web.
Commodities Trading—Primex International Trading Corporation:
Wrote application to track bids, offers, contracts, delivery orders, required documentation, shipments, etc. for an international commodities dealer.
Maintenance Management, Human Resources, and Accounting Integration—Mason Technologies, Inc.:
Designed and programmed six modules to integrate computerized maintenance management system, AbraPay Payroll, and Platinum Accounting modules with numerous integrity checks. Resulting system satisfied complex operational needs as well as government audit requirements.
Time & Billing—Protocare Sciences, Inc.:
Wrote application to collect staff hours with validated distribution codes and transfer them to Platinum Accounting’s Time and Billing module. Front-end is run by 150+ users over a wide-area network. Selected management reports are available via the front-end. The backend distributes time and includes numerous custom reports for analysis.
Membership System—National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences:
Track membership, offices, voting rights, etc. for the organization that presents the Grammy Awards.
Engineering Inventory System—Kaiser Permanente/Engineering Department:
Track inventory items from pump disposables to light bulbs. Track inventory levels, open orders, preferred vendors, etc.
User Service System—Digitalk:
Track registered users, reviewers, newsletter subscriptions, and paid support plans for the developers of SmallTalk V and other software products.
Portfolio Client Management—Provident Investment Counsel:
Track portfolios, individuals associated with them, and their reporting requirements. Portfolios valued at nine billion dollars.
Design Access Credit System—Design Access:
Handles all Accounts Receivable and related functions for a consumer credit plan available through member design firms and suppliers. Includes on-line authorizations and confirmations.
Case Management—Medicare Advocacy Project:
Client intake plus government & management reporting for non-profit firm that counsels Medicare patients.
Film Rights—Trans World Entertainment:
Tracks multiple film rights that Trans World Entertainment sells on a right per country (or region) basis.
Engineering Job Tracking—Gierlich-Mitchell Inc.:
Tracks engineering jobs, quotes, income, and expenses.
Donor Management—Fuller Theological Seminary:
Tracks all aspects of mailing list and contributions for largest non-denominational seminary in nation.
Talent Agency Management—LaRocca Talent Group:
Automates talent agency management, including tracking client skills and attributes, interviews, call-backs, jobs, commissions, and financial reports. Touted for technical innovation in Variety.
Property Management—Richardson Townhome Corporation:
Custom property management system to track all aspects of property management when individual units are owned by different investors.
Medical Billing—Reuben Merliss, M.D., Inc.:
Custom medical billing package to facilitate legal medical specialty and resultant record/billing requirements.
